Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox went to her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She studied the harpsichord as well as the flautist piano for 3 years. Lennox lived on an allowance for students and went on part-time employment to augment her funds. Lennox decided to change her profession when she was dissatisfied with her inexperience in the same way as other Royal Academy students. Lennox was a flute player in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. She quit the group shortly before their appearance in I.T.V's talents program New Faces. From 1977 until 1980, she was the lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British Pop group. In this band, she met Dave Stewart who would later join Eurythmics. Lennox was later able to record her debut solo album Diva. It was released in 1992. Both commercially as well as critically the album was a massive hit. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo record was released in the month of November. The C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite blues, soul and jazz tunes. Lepidoptera is a collection of four tracks that she improvised for piano, which Lennox released in May, 2019. This E.P. Her first solo album, which was released in conjunction with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'll Let You Go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is an activist, philanthropist as well as a singer. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work in the 1970s. They would go on, through the 1980s to form the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox started her own solo music career in 1992, through the album Diva. The album featured a variety of well-known songs, including the hit song Walking On Broken Glass and What's the Matter with You. Medusa her 1995 studio album includes cover versions of tracks like No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. The six solo studio albums and her compilation album include a number of hits.
