Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones. Born September 3, 1976. Ashley Aubra Jones has been an American actress for over twenty years. She is well-known for her soap opera roles as Megan Dennison (The Young and the Restless) as well as Bridget Forrester (The Bold and the Beautiful). In addition, she played the recurring role of Daphne on the second series of the HBO drama True Blood. Ashley Jones earned a Bachelor of Human Learning, K-8 in 1997 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Her first job was as a teacher of Reading in the Kindergarten class and also the 1st Grade at Maury County. In 1998 she married Brent Jones, her UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones and moved into Thompsons Station. In the Thompsons Station, she started teaching fourth class at Bethesda Elementary. Between 1999 and 2000, she was a teacher and completed her masters in Education at Trevecca Nazarene University. She left her classroom in 2000 after the couple welcomed their baby son Baylor. Ashley's most recent 15-year mission has been helping children grow in both her own church and the community at large. In addition, she serves as a volunteer in different roles. Ashley is a long-time leader for the Preschool Ministry and the Student Ministry of Thompson Station Church. Ashley taught her children at home for three years when she was at home. During their home schooling years they attended a family school-based tutorial, in which Ashley was also a teacher of History to Kindergarten and 1st Grade. God advised her that while she was enjoying homeschooling as well as being at home with her children, she had to go back to school full time. Brent and Ashley have five daughters. Silas Eliza Cruz are GCA students. Baylor a GCA graduate attends and plays baseball at UT Martin. Callan is also a GCA Graduate who is attending Western Kentucky University. The family is busy, and they enjoy hunting, fishing and encouraging each other to achieve success in their sports and other activities.
